RICHARD BREIBART: We have a unique way of handling things here. While I'm the primary attorney that's responsible for the criminal litigation, we have six lawyers besides myself and every case that comes into the office has at least myself and/or another lawyer and paralegal so we can make sure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Every client who walks through this door has a right and an expectation to receive the best effort from everyone, whether it be a lawyer or whether it be a paralegal. The client is always correct in terms of their needs and it's our job to try to fulfill those needs to the best of our ability.
If you prepare every case as it will go to trial, very often you'll have a higher rate of pretrial dismissals or pretrial resolutions. People are very concerned about the awesome power of the state. And our job through preparation, through communication with everyone involved in the process, including the client and their family members will make that client understand and feel that he or she is not only important but will get the best possible service in assisting them throughout the process.
