In addition to providing legal advice, Ms. Dawson assists clients and their families in dealing with the difficult issues that arise out of a criminal or civil case. She spends time with clients explaining the legal process, assisting them in finding resources that can help them through the process, including counseling, rehabilitation programs, work and housing programs.

Ms. Dawson previously worked in private law firms as a law clerk or as a project assistant with a focus on complex civil litigation and class actions.
