Shannon A. Davis

Shannon Davis was admitted to practice law in South Carolina in November 2009, and joined the Law Offices of Richard J. Breibart, LLC, in September 2010.

Ms. Davis is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she graduated with honors from the Darla Moore School of Business and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a double major in Finance and Real Estate.

In May 2009, Ms. Davis received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. At the law school, she served as a member editor on the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal. During her first summer as a law student, Ms. Davis worked as a law clerk at the Finkel Law Firm where she conducted legal research and prepared legal memoranda in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and construction. During her second summer as a law student, she worked as a law clerk for the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office in the juvenile court division. There, she observed juvenile court proceedings and worked with the assistant solicitors to prepare for trial. During her final year as a law student, she participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic as a student attorney where she represented juvenile clients in their criminal cases through the entire court process.

Following graduation from law school, Ms. Davis served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William P. Keesley, a South Carolina Circuit Court Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. During her clerkship, Ms. Davis conducted detailed legal research and prepared written orders for both criminal and civil proceedings. She also attended numerous motion hearings, criminal pleas, and both criminal and civil trials.

Ms. Davis is a resident of Lexington County and is a member of the Lexington County Bar and Lexington Young Professionals.
